Kurz vor Abschluss von Renovierungsarbeiten ließ der Bauherr anfragen, ob die Fassade in ihrer ürsprüngliche Gestaltung wiederhergestellt werden könnte. Aus Budgetgründen wurde entschieden die Fassade in einer Art und Weise zu gestalten, die die ursprüngliche Gestaltung interpretiert.

Durch historische Fotos und Zeichnungen konnten die dekorative Elemente mit Standardprofilen hergestellt werden. So konnten die Kosten minimiert, und die Bauzeit eingehalten werden.

Das Erscheinungsbild der Fassade fügt sich jetzt harmonisch in die Umgebung ein.

The renovation work was almost completed when the client asked that the façade be restored to its original appearance. However, the budget was very limited and it was agreed to restore the façade to a state that ‘interpreted’ its original appearance.

Using historical photos and drawings, the various ornamental elements were recreated using standard profiles which were available on the market. In this manner the costs were held within the budget and the construction time minimized.

The overall appearance is that of a fine, handsome façade which fits in with its historical neighbours and reflects its original identity.
